Prassa

More like a wild garden than an archaeological site, there are two Minoan houses at Prassa. The houses most likely date from the early Middle Minoan period but were inhabited up until LM I. The houses are poorly preserved and the photographs show the basements from House A. House B is even more poorly preserved but was built with ashlar facades. It is not clear whether the buildings were destroyed by fire and earthquake in LM IA or whether they were rebuilt, only to be destroyed again by earthquake in the same period.
